Common Mistakes

Including the @ in the URL. The @ is display convention, not part of the address — instagram.com/@yourbrand is not a valid profile link. This tool strips it, but tools that do not will produce a code leading to a 404.
Pointing the code at a specific post. Posts get deleted and archived, and a printed code outlives them. Point at the profile unless the post is genuinely permanent.
